Dr. Ernest Reeh, DDS, MS, PhD, is a board-certified endodontist by the American Board of Endodontics and a fellow of the American Association of Endodontists. He has over 37 years of experience, and is the owner, doctor and dentist at River Valley Endodontics.
Dr. Reeh studied at the University of Calgary, Alberta, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta School of Dentistry and was awarded the James McCutcheon Honor Award (one of two gold medals awarded to graduating students). Dr. Reeh went on to get specialty training in Endodontics from the University of Minnesota, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy in biophysics with a minor in engineering.
After graduating, Dr. Reeh continued to do volunteer research at the University of Minnesota, resulting in two dental technology patents. His findings have been published in numerous professional journals, case reports and abstracts, and he has given many lectures both nationally and internationally. He was also named Top Dentist in St. Paul Magazine.
Today, Dr. Reeh resides in Minnesota where he continues to own and work at River Valley Endodontics. He also does consulting for the 3M Dental Division as well as Carestream Dental.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Reeh likes to be in his yard and garden, tinker with a hobby car and do projects in his woodshop.
